I love the deodorants, oils, and body washes. I also love that the set comes in travel size. I could take or leave the silicone case.
However, I did not realize that they all come in plastic bottles. I don’t really care if it’s recycled plastic or not—one of the reasons I love By Rosie Jane is because everything always comes in glass. As a die hard BRJ fan, it feels like there’s been a shift since the new bottle colors and new fragrance came out and the plastic just seems to go against the By Rosie Jane brand and values that we all know and love. I wouldn’t have purchased this had I known it was in plastic and I hope this isn’t an indicator that we’ll see more plastic in the future…

Thank you so much for your message. Yes, we have made the switch from glass to 100% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic for our packaging, and here’s why: it’s better for the planet!
PCR plastic is made entirely from previously used, recycled plastic (like water bottles, milk jugs, etc.) that’s been cleaned, reprocessed, and turned into something new — in this case, your favorite BRJ products. It helps reduce waste, lowers our carbon footprint, and gives materials a second life, instead of sending them to landfills.
While we love the feel of glass, PCR is lighter (which reduces emissions during shipping), safer for travel and bathroom shelves, and most importantly — far more eco-friendly.
