I have most of by/rosie jane fragrances. Obviously, that would mean I like some better than others. Matilda would unfortunately rank at the bottom of the list, for me. I like the oils as they seem to last longer on my skin than the sprays. After putting the Matilda oil on my wrist, and sitting with it for a while, I washed it off and put on my first choice , Leila Lou. Matilda has an almost unidentifiable scent, and it was the first note that I smelled. Maybe the passionfruit? But it was a scent that I disliked, and so I will keep the roll on for maybe layering with another oil. I do love BRJ as the clean label/women owned company that they are, and will continue to use their products. Just probably not Matilda!!

I’ve already raved about my obsession with the scent of Matilda… but I flew to the website to write a review about the longevity as well because this needs to be known. I had noticed that the spray lasts a long time… but only just now am I discovering how long the perfume oil lasts, too. (I find this to be very, very rare with perfumes… especially cleaner perfumes) I just went to rest my head on my arm and couldn’t believe how strong Matilda still smelled on my wrist. I put this oil on around 8am this morning, and it is now 9pm. I did not reapply. It smells like it did when I first applied it. Actually, maybe even better. I’m shook. Matilda was crafted to perfection… the scent, the longevity, everything about it. I can’t get enough of it and will never let myself run out of the oil.
